Contract scope involved fish passage improvements to Squalicum Creek on SR 524 (MP 3.37 to 3.52) in Bellingham, Washington. The existing 205’ long culvert was replaced with a wide flange girder spanned bridge roughly 100’ long, and piers consisting of cellular concrete and cofferdam footings. Project included structure and channel excavation of over 50,000 cubic yards to begin the sheet pile installation.
