Details:
Work included asphalt rehabilitation of airfield pavements, which included sections of complete reconstruction of ACC pavement, milling and ACC pavement overlay. A fuel spill containment concrete slab and oil/water separator vault and drainage system. Interwest crews completely rebuilt Gate 8 ramp area and replaced it with PCC pavement, which included quarry spall sub-base, crushed rock & ACC pavement base & a 15" thick section of PCC pavement. Drainage improvements for de-icing, a ramp fuel spill containment system including oil/water separator vault, manholes & piping, electronic sensing, valve control & replacement of the sewer force main.
