Interwest’s safety policy includes employee training, regular safety meetings both on site and at headquarters, constant supervision by a full time safety and health officer, and frequent checks to ensure that we are doing all that we can to perform safely. While we strive to accomplish difficult jobs in a timely fashion, it is our policy that no task is so important that an employee must put themselves at risk or violate any of Interwest’s safety rules.
At Interwest, we are committed to maintaining a safe and hazard free workplace for all of our employees, subcontractors, clients and the general public. We are constantly working to eliminate potentially hazardous conditions and unsafe work behaviors. We strive to continuously build and improve our safety program and culture by leadership’s active engagement in personnel training/coaching/mentoring. We do this because everybody should get to go home at the end of the day.
Interwest is a valued member of the AGC’s safety team, is a member of the Drug Free Workplace program, and has a zero-tolerance policy for workplace violence.

Dave brings over 25 years of experience managing and directing safety programs in the construction industry. He is dedicated and motivated by protecting people, assets and owner/client interests through advanced knowledge of codes, better safety management practices and a zero-harm philosophy. He recognizes that trust-building is a key component to a successful safety culture.
